Blogger Interviews: Persuasion Inc ZW by Chiedza Mebe

I am officially done with school and that hustle of working whilst studying part time is over. Yeaay! That means i have more time to invest here :) In line with that i am starting a new segment on the blog were i feature other bloggers.

First up is the lovely Chiedza, who is the face behind persuasioninczw. I find it so fascinating how she is not only an editor and fashion blogger but she just graduated from Bible school and started a sisterhood called Good Girls Go To Heaven. How cool is that? A God fearing beauty and fashionista with brains!

Make 2017 your BEST year yet

Do you believe in new year's resolutions? I have always been one to set very detailed goals from my spiritual life to finances, relationships, career etc. As i reflected on 2016 i realised i did achieve most of my goals however i think i was a little too uptight and need to loosen up a little. Then i thought to myself.. WAIT.. Nicole you are turning 27 this year and

Honey before bed time?

We are all aware of the benefits honey has for our skin but what does it do for the body? Well, honey has some pretty good benefits for our health as well. And yes it is really sweet, so you might be thinking it will cause weight gain however the opposite is true. I have listed two major benefits of taking honey below.

Happy new month loves! Let's take some stock, shall we?

Have you heard of Turmeric?

I've grown in love with turmeric - an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial root which has been used for decades especially in the Asian communities and now dominates my beauty world.

Taking Stock '1'

One of my favorite bloggers QueennGrace inspired me to start uploading 'taking stock' posts, i've aways thought they are interesting and thought about the items in my head. So for this month, i thought why not write it out and share with y'all.

Choose Yourself More Often

I got into a heated discussion (lets call it an argument) about 2 weeks ago with one of my work colleagues who chooses to remain in an abusive relationship in which her boyfriend beats her up every other day but she still believes he loves her *rolls eyes* Ever since then the issue of self-love has been on my mind and then i also came across a video by Heather Lindsey in which she spoke about self-love and so I'm sharing this to encourage anyone else out there who might be feeling guilty for prioritising themselves or thinks there is something wrong with that.

Dealing with Menstrual Pain

I don't know of anyone who enjoys dealing with menstrual pain. Aaaaaaaaargh! It saddens me though, that the first solution most of the ladies around me turn to is pain killers (Panadol, Ibuprufen etc) so i decided to share some of my 'natural' remedies and hope we can all take a more 'natural' perspective towards dealing with the pain.

Going Forward

So i haven't posted in the longest time! Past few weeks have been the busiest i have been in a long time. I had to make some last minute changes to my final project and that required me to literally put a hold on everything else and focus on school if i was to submit my project on time.

10 Different uses of Coconut 'Miracle' Oil

My fave multipurpose oil is without any doubt, COCONUT OIL. Coconut oil has several uses but in this post i want to make it personal, by sharing how i use it.

Recouping after a stressful day

The past week has been a busy and hectic one. I am working on the final project for my Masters course and it has been such a challenge to juggle that with work and life generally. I'm thankful to God that through it all He was my strength when i was weak and i'm still standing. As a result i was inspired to write a post sharing some of the

Too 'Busy' for Me Time?

There is an enormous amount of stress and pressure on young women today to be successful. To be honest it is really competitive out there and we have to work hard to make it right? Well that was me before, now i have learn't to work smart instead. LOL! In the pursuit of following our dreams and working 'smart' we all need occasional breaks for sanity's sake and this involves sparing a few moments each day/week for ourselves.

The 'Me Time' Tag

Managing work, school and life can be a little hectic, my mornings start of really early and my day ends pretty late. Most people try to squeeze in alone time and i don't agree with that, i believe we need to be intentional about it. In my definition 'me time' is for me to wind down, relax, pamper myself, celebrate successes and also includes personal development through reading or watching something etc and i intentionally set aside time for it.
