-Taking Stock-

Oh hello there, welcome to another edition of 'Taking Stock'. Sorry its a few days late, I am currently in Maldives on vacation. Hahahaha yes, one destination on the bucket list ticked off and one goal for 2017 achieved. April has been a tough month, i lost my grandmother (sobs) and have been trying to deal with it. Hoping May will be a better month.

Taking Stock 5

I hope your February was as good as mine :) Happy new month!!

Make 2017 your BEST year yet

Do you believe in new year's resolutions? I have always been one to set very detailed goals from my spiritual life to finances, relationships, career etc. As i reflected on 2016 i realised i did achieve most of my goals however i think i was a little too uptight and need to loosen up a little. Then i thought to myself.. WAIT.. Nicole you are turning 27 this year and

Taking Stock '1'

One of my favorite bloggers QueennGrace inspired me to start uploading 'taking stock' posts, i've aways thought they are interesting and thought about the items in my head. So for this month, i thought why not write it out and share with y'all.

The past week has been a busy and hectic one. I am working on the final project for my Masters course and it has been such a challenge to juggle that with work and life generally. I'm thankful to God that through it all He was my strength when i was weak and i'm still standing. As a result i was inspired to write a post sharing some of the

The 'Me Time' Tag

Managing work, school and life can be a little hectic, my mornings start of really early and my day ends pretty late. Most people try to squeeze in alone time and i don't agree with that, i believe we need to be intentional about it. In my definition 'me time' is for me to wind down, relax, pamper myself, celebrate successes and also includes personal development through reading or watching something etc and i intentionally set aside time for it.

Lessons from 2015

2015 has been a good year. I have grown so much in all the areas of my life and am now clear about the kind of woman i want to be and the mark i want to live on those around me. God revealed Himself in my life and met all my needs. I achieved most of the major goals i had set out to achieve last year this time.
