Back to Basics: Updated Skincare Routine

I last posted my skincare routine over a year ago and whilst going through my previous posts last night i realised my regimen has changed, not so much in the process but the products i now use. I'm sure y'all already know i am such a minimalist and so i do not like complicating my life but would rather sick to the very 'basics' even when it comes to skin care.

Quick & Easy DIY Deodorant

I first came across 'homemade deodorant' on YouTube and i pretty much laughed, thinking to myself this lady is crazy and has completely lost it. Then i made my very first deodorant and thought hahahahah i'm the crazy one now. If you have been following the blog for a while, you will know that i am all for natural ingredients and experimenting with

Managing Natural Hair: Protective Styling

Back to Basics: My go to DIY Face Masks

In a previous post, "My Skincare Regimen," I mentioned that I use different DIY face masks depending on the ingredients I have at home, so today I've decided to share my favorite 'go to' masks. We are living in an age where no product is considered to be really 100% safe and everything is considered to have traces of toxins leading to the 'C Word'.

Back to Basics: My Skincare Regimen

During this past few weeks i am guilty of bad skincare habits and generally neglecting my skin. I attended dinners with friends and ate food in quantities i would not eat on a normal day. Towards the end of November last year i embarked on a journey of cutting out red meat from my diet which i was consistent with until Christmas time. Honestly it was so hard to resist all the lamb and mutton when i attended friends dinners, so i found
