Taking Stock 5



I hope your February was as good as mine :) Happy new month!!

Making:  no mistake of placing my happiness in someone else's hands. I am responsible for that!

Drinking:  White wine. Lately i have this thing for pretty & elegant.

Reading:  I know we are now in March guys. First quarter of the year is coming to an end soon  but i still haven't picked up any book. I'm open to suggestions.

Wanting: the Good Girl perfume by Carolina Herrera. (yes i shall keep wanting it until i get it)

Looking:  forward to experimenting with my natural hair. Keeping my hair out this month. 

Playing: Killer T. Yes i'm all about my local beats lately.

Wasting: no time. I have until end of April to  get  something done. (Y'all will understand soon)

Wishing: food could be transferred through messages. Missing home food. (yea i know its just been a moth since i got back but the struggle is real)

Enjoying: time to myself. Been away from work for about a week and it feels s good.

Liking: my hair growth. Been taking the Manetabolisim vitamins, took out my extensions yesterday and my new growth is crazy!

Wondering: what life will be like in 2 months. So many changes are taking place around me. (So help me God) 

Hoping: to get good results from a language test i took yesterday. It's really important.

Needing: a weekend getaway to some serenic location. I could do with some peace, quiet and pretty views right now.

Smelling:  got a new Arab perfume. Not sure what its called though. It smells heavenly.

Knowing: that all things will work out for good.

Giggling: at some pictures i took back home with my siblings.

Cooking: lamb chop and potatoes.

Wearing:  still on that sweat pants & tank tops swag.

Following: accounts with content that inspires me. These days whenever i scroll down my IG stories its motivation after motivation. 

Noticing: that my stomach is getting out of hand. I need to watch my diet and consistent exercise.

Feeling: like i can conquer the world. I have so much energy and motivation!

    Great post !
    Happy March and I recommend you a book, if you have not read it already, it is called One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, I suppose there will be the English version. I'm re-reading it again and I like it more than the first time, I discovered things I did not remember when I first read it.

    I enjoyed reading this, sounds like you have something up your sleeve and I wish you the best of luck for it!
    And I am super looking forward to your new hairstyles, I must admit, I'm a bit frustrated with my hair at the moment. I have 4C hair and to get defined curls, I do plaits before I go to bed. But I want more defined curls and been following YouTube videos but not getting the same results- grrrrr.

      Ha me too the struggle is real. I have a few samples for some curl enhancing products, i'll be trying them out anf hopefully that works. Thanks for stopping by 😚
